Day two was quite a day. Downtown was full of little shops for us to spend money and look and new and interesting things. The only thing I could possibly complain about on this trip are the hills we have to walk up and down, up and down, oh, did I say we had to walk up and down! My legs are very sore this morning, but hey, at least I'm getting some muscles!Cool

Last night we were planning to go to the beach, and it just so happened that its name opened a huge opportunity to make fun of MY southern accent. The name of the beach is Alki. Not including the amusement from how we talk, we had an amazing time meeting new friends and hanging out with old ones. We put our feet in the Pudget Sound, so now I can say that I've put my feet in the PACIFIC OCEAN!!! I was sooo excited. We played catch with the football and when it got too late to see it without getting hit we split off with certain people and sat down and talked. It was nice to re-get-to-know everyone.

The sunset was AMAZING! Pink sky behind dark mountain background over sparkling water. I was mesmerized my the beautiful work God had done. It was just truly indescribable. Today we are headed to Spokane, Washington to meet up with our teams and this is also the place where we are having our big send off. More details on that later.

Another great day is in the books. We toured all of Seattle yesterday and walked up hill all day long. This would be a terrible city to try to drive a stick-shift car. The hills are straight up and down ... beautiful but a challenge to climb. The girls claim that their legs will look really good by the time they get back home :)

We had a great time with our combined team last night and are so ready to get started in Montana. We will leave in a couple of hours to head over to our launch site, then on to Montana in the morning. Keep praying. Our teens are doing so good.
