We made it back home yesterday at about 3pm. As I write this the morning after, I am in AWE of how God moved last week in Garden Valley Idaho. I am SO PROUD of our teens and adult leaders that made this possible. Of course, God gets the glory, but these guys/gals really went above and beyond and were incredible examples of being true servants for Christ.
Pastor Ernest and his wife Debbie were AMAZING!!!!! Words cannot express how much they took care of our team. Debbie worked so hard at all of our meals everyday!!! That small church has some amazing servants for Jesus!!
Last Friday, we were blessed with a river rafting trip by "Youth Dynamics" in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. Wow.... That's all I can say... Paul and his crew did a fabulous job and really blessed our group. I actually got to "ride the bull" and hung on for my dear life!!
In Idaho, we prayed.... and then we prayed... and we saw GOD ANSWER SPECIFIC PRAYERS. Teens that were there the day prior to, came back, some re-dedicated their hearts to the Lord. Some took the challenge and want to be betters leaders amongst their peers.
There's just too much to write that would only scratch the surface in our summary of the trip. GOD MOVED MIGHTILY.
Wow.....
That's all I can say...
-Joe
by the way... Our youth band (the OUT OF TOWNERS) played on a float during Garden Valley's 4th of July Parade and took 3rd place! The hilarious thing is - we didn't even know there was a float contest! Actually, we didn't win anything, just another story to pass on to our grandchildren.... Crouch Idaho on the 4th of July is something you have to experience first hand... Oh..... My........ Goodness....... I have NEVER seen anything like this. And I have been to MANY places on the 4th of July (Nashville TN, Disneyland, etc).... It's CRAZY!!!!!
Happy Independence Day! Praise God for our freedom although true freedom comes from Christ.
We cannot believe that this is our last day in Crouch! This week has been simply amazing... God has moved in our midst in ways beyond our wildest dreams. Last night we wrapped up Gospel Journey Maui and it was truly amazing.
Yesterday, we went river rafting with "Youth Dynamics" and had a blast! Too much to list!
Please be praying for us today. There are literally thousands of people in Crouch and lots of opportunities to evangelize today. We're also going to put our youth band on a float in the Garden Valley parade this evening!
Jesus has answered our prayers in so many ways and it truly has been an awesome trip!!
Thank you for your prayers. Please pray for us today and our drive home tomorrow.
In Christ,
Joe
Behind the ramp, next to the chuch is their old church building. Yesterday we cleaned it out so it can become the new Youth Building!
We're here and the Lord is moving mightily! We've met some awesome teens and have had some great spiritual conversations! We don't have the internet so updates will be few, but please keep praying!! Pray for our teens to be bold in engaging in spirtual conversations. Please pray for a teen named Cody who has had some recent facial fractures and may need surgery. Pray for the Lord to bring healing and that there would be no need for surgery!
We'll be here through July 4th and on the 4th it's a HUGE time for outreach! Please pray for divine appoinments and the possibility to be a part of the local parade on the 4th!
We love you all!!

Hey Everyone! Wow! We leave for Idaho on Friday! It’s hard to believe the date is here!!
Please be praying for our trip! Specific prayer requests:
· Travel mercies and good health for everyone
· That the Lord will use the skateboard ramp as a huge draw for the teens in Crouch
· That many teens will be eternally impacted for Jesus
· That the Lord will give us the courage that He gave Joshua to boldly proclaim His Name
· That our group can really unite together as a result of this trip
· That the Lord will open up some great discussion as we go through “Gospel Journey Maui” each evening at the church
· That we will have ample opportunity to bless and serve the community of Crouch Idaho.
We appreciate your prayers!!!! Stay tuned!

Hey Everyone!
We're excited to announce that we'll be partnering with
Calvary Chapel Garden Valley in Crouch, Idaho
June 26th-July 5th!
Last week, Mike & myself
took a 2 day road trip to Crouch (9 hour drive each way!) and we were so
excited that we did! We met Pastor Ernest and God immediately confirmed that
this trip was His direction! It's so cool to see God work! We were able to
drive around town and survey the land and get a feel for our group's time
there.
We had a great time of discussion and prayer with Pastor Ernest and
are really looking forward to next month! Our teens are going to have the
time of their lives reaching out to this awesome community in Idaho! We are
so excited!!!
Grace to you!
Pastor Joe
This last weekend, our mission team went to "Invincible" - a teen evangelism conference at Key Arena. At the conference, we were challenged on how to put on God's armor and be most effective as we reach out with the GOSPEL to our peers. The weekend was amazing! There was music by Fee and Leeland, awesome guest speakers and very thought provoking dramas! We were challenged to call our unsaved friends and share the gospel with them and also went door to door in Seattle, collecting can food for the Salvation Army and sharing the gospel to those who didn't slam the door in our faces =)
Overall, it was an awesome weekend and we were all challenged to get out there and boldly share Jesus because the youth aren't the church of the future, they're the church of TODAY!
