Yesturday I went with Sarah Jo and Heather to ride the Tatsu. When we got in line, the girl in front of us, Madison, turned around and asked us why we were wearing matching orange shirts. We told her about the missions trip but the conversation turned to just talking about our families and just getting to know eachother. Eventually I started asking questions about her faith and if she went to church and questions like that. I found out that she was not religious but did believe in the existance of God and believed in Jesus. It was hard to understand if she really understood the gospel and our conversation soon ended because we got on the ride. We'll be praying for Madison and that she will some day come to know God as more than just someone who exists and would start a real relationship with God.
Praying for you as you travel into Mexico. Praying that you will feel God's presence and you will have the strength to do his work. "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:23-24
