Where to begin… First off Mexico was a pretty life changing experience. I went into the trip thinking how great it was going be to help the families in Mexico and didn’t even think about what God had planned for me on this trip. The speakers in Mexico really made me think about where I was at with God and whether or not my life was fully and completely His. I am the type of person that likes to have plan for the future and a couple back up plans just in case. During this trip I was really challenged to just “let go and let God”.  This will be difficult for me but I am going to try my best and I know with God’s help I will be able to. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for me and where He will take me in life. Whether it be the mission field or a stay at home mom.

  • No Better Place

Alicia, There's no better place to be than resting in the reality that your life is completely, unequivocally in the hands of your loving Creator. The reality of choosing to be fully and completely His is a day by day, even, moment by moment opportunity. I'm so thankful this is your desire. Sometimes seizing that opprtunity means we won't have the ability to "see" exactly what the next step is or what's around that stinkin' corner, but it's so good to know (as some song puts it....imagine that me, quoting a song!) "when we can't trace His plan we can trust His heart." There is no heart that exists that is more for you than the heart of God. Because of this there is no heart I desire you trust more completely than His. Alicia, He will finish the work He began in you! I love you! - Mom
