Mexico was a learning experience. Everyday God opened my eyes to something glorious.  One of the things I learned was about missions.

I always knew about missions and that it was important but God commands us to go and spread his gospel. I really want to go and to unreached people groups.

There are still souls who have never heard Jesus's name and have no Bible in their language, it is just astounding. I also learned to give God my whole life and not just a part.  I am not my own and I need to give God full control even if that means giving up my future and letting go of tough things.

The people of Mexico also amazed me especially a little girl named Nicole who was 6 and completely content with her life even though she has less than most Americans have. I got to spend tons of time coloring and playing claps games. It was awesome to see the joy and love radiant from her. I know that Mexico has changed me forever and God has taught me so much and I pray that I continue to grow in him and keep pursuing missions.

  • Can't wait to see you

So glad it's been such a good experience for you and the Lord is teaching you. Can't wait to see you and the team.

  • Lanh you have grown to be a beautiful woman of God. Thanks for sharing your experience

  • I will enjoy hearing about your experiences. Yes, isn't it amazing that those who have the least are usually richest in spirit? God certainly lives within their souls. May this journey continue to enrich your life.

  • Way to Go!

Whatup Cuz? I'm really touched to learn that you have now experienced what I experienced when I was your age. It really turned out to shape every part of my life up to today! I'll tag you in the pictures I have of me on my Mexico trip/s. You'll have to forgive the pimples though. =) May God continue to bless you and show you what the love He talks about can be a reality. What you saw and did on your trip is that reality. If you don't go, you don't grow. You went, now enjoy the growth. John 15:5
