Hey Prayer Warriors,
So this last weekend, our team had the chance to go on the Spring Missions Retreat at Lake Retreat in Ravensdale, WA. Unfortunately, we had several team members have schedule conflicts, and we actually ended up with just 7 of our 16 students being able to attend the retreat. However, for those 7, it was a great experience that challenged each of them. We also had the opportunity to meet members of Zion Lutheren in Kent, who will be partnering with our team that is going to Corvallis, MT.
Looking ahead, there are several prayer items I'd ask you to be praying for. The biggest thing is that God would build our teams together. With so many students missing the retreat, there can easily be some disjointedness that comes from all of that. So be praying that we're not only able to come together as Grace Church, but also that our teams will be able to join well with the Crossroads team from Vinton, LA, going to Ronan, MT, and the Zion team going to Corvallis. There's a lot of different group dynamics that will come from this awesome partnership we're forming this summer, so be praying that God truly does knit our teams together. Also, be praying for me as I look to set in stone in the next two weeks which students are going to which town. Pray that God truly has His hand in those decisions.
