Tonight the ninth grade boys played a prank on Charlie. I laid down outside the church while Chaz hid near me with a piece of cake. Trent went in and told Charlie that I had fallen outside on the concrete and Charlie came out, thinking something was wrong. When Charlie got near enough, Chaz hit him in the nose with the cake. I was laughing the whole time. It was a great prank.
Friday night... We put the kids on the spot, creating a four-student panel where the kids could ask questions of our students. The response was really cool. Such great participation, and our kids did great!
But first, the leaders (to break the ice)...
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." (James 1:27)
Wow. The opportunities that we've had here in Cambridge to minister have been such a blessing! Watching the kids serve and do all that the Lord has called them to in this place has been such an encouragement to me. In this beautiful valley, we've met some really cool people. And hardworking teens coming alongside our own! So cool.
I've seen every one of our students be challenged and rise above personal obstacles. God is faithful! I believe He is at work and will complete that work in each and every one! I love how He is working in the hearts of the teens here in Cambridge... ours and theirs! Please keep praying as we finish out this evening. Pray for clarity and boldness. Conviction and redemption! He is faithful! (did i already say that?)
Blessings! ~Tami
Last night I did my testimony in front of a lot of people, that was the first time I've ever done this. Every thing was going good then all of a sudden I got to the part of my story were I talked about how I was teased a lot in Middle School and I started to cry. It was so embarrassing even though everyone said I was fine it was still embarrassing. I finished my story with tears running down my face but it was a great experience even though I cried.

Hi everyone that could possibly be reading this:)
Idaho is amazing!! This church now feels like a second home, and I am pretty sure that I am going to bawl my head off when we have to leave on Saturday. We have made SO MANY new friends!! Cleaning windows at the Senior Center was awesome, we got a lot done, while having a lot of fun spraying each other with the hose! Then working out in the field breaking up gigantic clumps of dirt then running away from sprinklers was really fun too. Then swimming with all of the local kids was super fun, and very refreshing due to the fact that it is forty billion degrees outside. Then today "harvesting" thistles out in the wind for a few hours, was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very POKEY, and now i am plastered with cuts!! But it was a good laugh...
DINNER.. WOOT.
Bye!!

PS: Mom, I got sunburnt.
Hello to everybody out there that isn't in Cambridge right now! This week has been AMAZING so far. It's awesome to see how God is working in my life and the life of those around me. So far, I've battled annoying air mattresses, went to a great church service, went to a delicious picnic (yes, I even tried the horse meat!), battled an earwig infestation while others went to work at a senior center, crawled in the dirt, moved some logs around, cleaned a TON of windows, worked at a massive garden, cleaned a cat room, trimmed some bushed, played games with the youth in the town an our mission team, shared my testimony, sang on the worship team, and met some of the most kind, generous, fun people in Cambridge....... and the week isn't even over yet!!! The week has flown by so far, and I can't believe we only have a few days left in the town! I couldn't be more grateful for the mission team I'm on... they are the BEST!! I'm looking forward to the rest of the week and praying that I can find somebody to personally connect to in the town and find opportunities to share the gospel. God is so good! Love you all and I'm praying for the other mission teams and everybody back at home!
All my love, Ansley
