Your entire team will experience an amazing time of worship, training and relationship-building at Challenge 2010—Youthmark’s Spring Retreat for Mission Venture participants. The intensive training is designed to make a huge impact in a brief time. The inspiring program and activities are geared to giving the boost you need to finish the prep for your mission!

A Unique 2010 Youthmark Mission Venture
Regardless of the option you choose—YMV Complete, Select or Basic—you can be sure that your team’s experience will be unique. No cookie-cutters are used in creating any Youthmark Mission Venture. With YMV Basic and YMV Select you can choose your own destination and rely upon Youthmark for resources and services to make your mission a success. With YMV Complete you get it all—a total start-to-finish missions experience with all the guidance, resources, events and assistance you need. Through YMV Complete your team(s) will prepare for an 8 to 10-day mission in strategically chosen and scouted communities. Each participant will learn first-hand the challenge of ministry in a place very different from home. In many ways, the Mission Venture is a cross-cultural experience, calling upon teens to break through barriers to share their faith and live out their commitment to Christ. In 2010, YMV Complete trips are targeting the Pacific Northwest, Gulf Coast, Southeast Alaska, Mountains and Mid-America, Desert and West, and the inner city through a new initiative called City Venture.

A Life-changing Impact Beyond the Venture
The impact of the Mission Venture lasts far beyond the trip itself. The emphasis on follow-through and the strategic involvement of parents produces enduring results. During the mission itself, team members grow spiritually through daily, guided studies in RoadGrip, a unique devotional guide. Back at home, their parents are focused on similar themes in a companion publication, HomeBase. And, in those first crucial weeks after returning home, team members reinforce their commitments through Merge, a two-week guide to Christ-centered living. The influence of the Mission Venture continues!

    You receive all of this for a very low cost per participant! By registering on or before January 15, 2010, you’ll get a 25%-35% discount off the standard rates, reducing your cost price per person to under $400. Please note that churches must provide their own transportation and some meals during the Mission Venture.
