We had a wonderful time this morning with the congregation of Tonto Basin Bible Church. This church is incredibly hospitable and friendly, and we love it here! This morning our team taught Sunday School for the youth, led the music in church, and shared the sermon. The Lord was working all morning!
There were about 6 youth in our Sunday School class, and, of course, 11 of us, so it made for a large class. We shared some testimonies, and gave teaching on the Great Commission (Acts1). We let the students know about the outreach starting tonight at the school, and are praying that they will come, and tell their friends! You can pray too. Our first night is tonight at 6pm.
Now, just so everyone knows, we are eating VERY WELL on this trip. It is likely that when we get back, most of us will have gained a little weight :) There was a potluck after the service with amazing food and desserts! It was great fellowshipping with them.
On top of that, a different family from the church brings us dinner every night and so far it is awesome! Mel and Gail brought us lasagne, mac and cheese AND meatballs last night......and bread.......and salad.....and a cake.......and another cake!
Another family dropped off some chili for tonight and it's warming up in the kitchen right now. It's hard to believe we have to eat in a little over an hour! Plus, after the school tonight we'll be going to a local place called Mama Lou's Cafe, for maybe some shakes or something.
Tomorrow morning we will be going on a group run to help with these extra calories!

Hey Team! So excited to hear all that you're doing there in Tonto Basin already! You're all on my heart this week and I am so excited to hear what God does through all of you on your trip! It is so lonesome here with all of you gone, but at least Lea and I can be buddies together! Love and miss all of you! Sending each of you a big HUG!!!
