Wanted to send a quick post letting you know about some things going on today. We had another great discipleship morning, with most of the same kids returning. We talked a lot about the Holy Spirit and how we need to empty ourselves and rely on God to live in us, and through us. We felt like there were definitely some breakthroughs in our discussions. The kids here are opening up to us in incredible ways!
After the study, we walked outside and once again, Matt was there! He hung out for a while then came back with a couple friends. They're skateboarding in the parking lot and just talking to our kids as I write. Nicole went out and snapped a photo for me, very sly!
It's pretty awesome to see our students be intentional in their relationships, consistently looking for ways to bring Christ into a conversation. God is surely working through them and giving them a heart for missions! I'm sooooo proud of them and you should be too!
So, continue to pray for Matt, and his friends Mike and Miles (triple M!).
And thanks to EVERYONE back home and elsewhere for continuing to post! We read them together a couple times a day, very encouraging!!!
Jeff - it is great being able to keep up with your team. Tell the kids that there is someone in Seattle praying for them and for God the use them.
Matt, Mike and Miles - you got it! Mikala, Matthew is missing you so much :) (did you expect that?) Moriah, Martina doesn't know what to think - momma, moriah, momma, moriah I guess I'll have to settle for momma :)
We are praying hard for everyone! Praying for God to do miraculous things to open hearts of both believers and unbelievers to what He is doing! Thank you for serving the Lord - keep it up, guys! Love you all!!!
Hi everyone, Glad to hear all of the exciting times you're having. I'm sure you're making a difference- it sounds like there have been a lot of good opportunities to share with the people you've met. Maci and Ellie, Jon-G and Bree Bree miss you soooo much! We can't wait to see you when you get back. The baby misses you too. :) You'll have to come over to our house and spend the night again soon. To Jeff and Mikey from Jon: It is so lonely without you two at work, but it is more important that you are doing the Lord's work. There will always be regular work. God bless you all. Hey Arizona Missionaries!- Jeffey you wised up and decided midnight posts are too much!Smart man!!! Mama Magiera starts her day by reading how the gang is doing...so what a surprise to see an afternoon post!!! We're tickled thay Matt keeps turning up and with buddies too!
