Seattle-Spokane-Seattle-Spokane

My yo-yo has just begun bouncing, only it isn't up and down, right now it is west to east.  Last Friday to Spokane, Saturday back to Seattle, Thursday back to Spokane and eventually back to Seattle!

The Hub for our first (and for all three of the Montana and Idaho based trips--12 churches are serving in communities in MT/ID this summer) YMV's was Opportunity Presbyterian Church of Spokane Vallley.  What gracious hosts they are and what a wonderful gift from God in allowing us to use this building.  It worked out well and I imagine it will continue to be a blessing to us for the rest of the summer!

The 26 folk from First Baptist of Chehalis arrived about 90 minutes late on Friday (cargo issues prevented them from leaving on time); this meant an adjusted schedule for our first night, but by Saturday noon we were virtually caught up and they hit the road about 1:00 PM on Saturday.  You can read about all their adventures here.  Please do go there and pray through the specific requests they give!

I was impressed with this team, it was nice to spend time with students I have seen at the retreats and I am very thankful that God allowed our first hub to be a smaller group so we could work out any of the potential kinks!  Fortunately, it all went well and only a few adjustments need to be made!  Praise God!
